We use Stripe as our payment processor — one of the most trusted and widely audited payment platforms in the world (PCI DSS Level 1). When you enter card details, you enter them directly on Stripe's secure infrastructure. Egret never sees, stores, or has access to your card number, CVV, or billing details. We receive only a payment confirmation token.
Don't want an account? Search as a guest. We collect no personal data, store no search history, and retain nothing about you after your report is delivered. You pay $5 via Stripe, receive your dossier, and that's the end of the transaction. Nothing is saved on our end.
Nothing in Egret auto-charges your card. Search credits you purchase are one-time transactions. There is no recurring billing, no subscription fee, and no plan that renews automatically. You will only be charged when you explicitly initiate a purchase.
Every report you run is stored in your account with no expiration date. You can log in a year later and re-read, re-download, or share any past report without paying again. We don't delete reports and we don't charge to access them.
